Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to collect, process, and analyze large-scale cybersecurity datasets.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and security teams to understand data needs and deliver reliable solutions.
- Ensure the integrity, security, and efficiency of data infrastructure, keeping in line with cybersecurity best practices.
- Optimize data systems for performance and scalability in a real-time threat analysis environment.
- Develop and manage data models, metadata, and documentation.
- Support data-driven decision-making across teams with high-quality data infrastructure.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in data engineering roles.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and distributed data frameworks like Apache Spark, Kafka, or Flink.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and tools such as S3, Glue, BigQuery, or equivalents.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing.
- Exposure to cybersecurity data (threat intelligence, logs, SIEM, etc.) is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a startup environment.
